My writing skills…

One year ago (and this is all true) i was not able to write in english…It was, ans still is sometimes, the hardest task for me!

But now, when i see myself writing two essays at the same time and spending less time on in, than i used to at the biginner of the course,  i can see how it’s still not perfect but has improve enough to make feel really happy!!

I dont admire myself to often, but today morning i really appreciate the fact that I CAN WRITE IN ENGLISH!! :) …It might be a simple thing for all of you but for me, is a massive achievement!!…I am not sure if many of you know about this, but all the international students that want to study in the UK have to pass an English exam called IELTS certificate. To be acepted in this course at the media school, i needed an score of 7 points in all the sections of the test.  Sometimes the university can make an exeption and admit students with a score not less than 6.5….But mine unfortunately was an score of only 6 points, and to make it even worse, in the writing section I only achived 3.5 points. With this, my future at the Bournemouth University was unsure and my writing skill were the biguest of my worries…

I remember when i went to talk to Andrew Ireland, he wasnt sure about letting me into the course, just because he was afraid of me having a bad time with my english. I promessed him that i was going to work har on it to make it better and that he wouldnt hear any complains about me….So he gave me the opportunity to stay in this university and give it a try!

…Here I’m now, finishing my first year!! I know I could have done it better, but this is all about progress and still, I have another 2 years to carry on with my work and improve more!!  …To be honest i have the impression now that all what Andrew has heard from me until today, has been positive!! :)

Thanks for reading me! …And please ignore my spelling mistakes! lol
